PS: Experts believe that Tchaikovsky was a distant relative of Lenin’s, through the family of his father. “One of the members of the Bernes family, upon arrival in Russia, married a member of the Tchaikovsky family and so Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Vladimir Ilyich Lenin are relatives”, claims Olga Shalyova, a researcher at the home museum of Lenin.
